Computer Programming Certificate

This certificate provides a transition into programming with a core set of courses. After two semesters, successful students will have learned programming concepts and gained advanced-problem solving skills in Python, C++, and Java.

CMSC 202 - Computer Science 2 (Fall, Spring)

Program Goals

Upon completion successful completion of the program, the student will be able to:

Use modern computer science programming principles to analyze, design, and solve complex problems.
Utilize modern programming languages to demonstrate key concepts.
Troubleshoot and correct errors in logical design and syntactical construction.
