STEM 104 - STEM Scholars’ Research Lab Number of Credits: 2 Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Scholars’ Research Lab provides students with the opportunity to conduct a literature review and participate in comprehensive hands-on lab projects in one or more disciplinary areas within STEM. Students will present their research findings at Carroll and/or at a regional conference. (Spring terms) Five hours Laboratory. Two Credits. Two billable hours.
Pre-requisite(s): acceptance to the STEM Scholars’ Program. Course Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Conduct literature reviews. (GE2,GE4)
- Create a written portfolio of research work. (GE1,GE4,GE7)
- Conduct an independent research project. (GE2,GE3)
- Present a capstone project. (GE1,GE4,GE7)
