PTA 231 - Overview of Special Populations Number of Credits: 3 Overview of Special Populations presents a normal and pathological overview of the aging process as well as the involvement of physical therapy in the treatment of the geriatric, burn, amputee, and acute care populations. This course will also introduce the student to the importance of wound care in rehabilitation and the field of orthotics Additional $75 fee required. Three hours lecture each week. Three Credits. Three billable hours.
