PHED 107 - Yoga Number of Credits: 1 Explore yoga principles and practices as part of a wellness lifestyle. Practice beginning movements, poses, breathing, and meditation techniques. Use yoga equipment, including blocks and straps. (Fall & Spring Only) Two hours laboratory each week. One Credit. One billable hour.

Meditation Course Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Articulate the benefits of yoga.
2. Participate in beginning yoga poses in class and at home.
3. Apply yoga principles and practices in written assignments.
