SUAS 103 - sUAS Foundations Number of Credits: 3 Identify the capabilities and limitations of UAS technology, including hardware and software. Explain the wide-ranging concerns related to UAS integration into national airspace. Additional $99 certification exam fee is paid to Unmanned Safety Institute. Certification is not guaranteed. (Spring Term Only) Three hours lecture each week. Three Credits. Three billable hours.

- Differentiate commercial and governmental application of small UAS technology. (PG1)
- Analyze the key concepts and theories associated with remote sensing. (PG1, PG3)
- Categorize UAS control stations and the methods of UAS control. (PG1)
- Distinguish between and identify appropriate datalink configurations. (PG1)
- Apply course knowledge and skills to the Unmanned Safety Institute Safety Level 1 certification exam. (PG1)
