HES 112 - Health Care in the U.S. Number of Credits: 3 Explore the development of the U.S. health care system from the past to present, including the role of the government in public health and the impact of managed care on delivery. Examine in-patient, outpatient, long-term care services, information technology, health care laws, and medical ethics. Discuss careers in health care along with payment and financing.
