Network Security, Certificate

The purpose of the certificate in Network Security is to prepare students for a career in computer network security and administration, computer repair and support, or a related field by providing a broad background in computer networking and network security, network analysis, computer repair and support, and operating systems.

Program Goals


Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:

  1. Communicate technical information to others verbally and in writing.
  2. Apply technical reasoning to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve challenges and issues.
  3. Design computer networks that provide confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
