Students explore a wide range of subjects in a flexible curriculum. This transfer-oriented program offers the greatest choice of electives of any degree at Carroll, allowing students to select courses based on a receiving institution’s requirements and their own academic and career interests. Students develop the essential skills in communication, research, analysis, problem solving, and scientific reasoning necessary for success in any bachelor’s degree program and the profession they ultimately pursue.

Program Goals


Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:

  1. Communicate ideas in written, oral, and other modes as appropriate to a situation and audience.
  2. Apply quantitative and scientific reasoning skills relevant to a field of study.
  3. Employ various thinking strategies to develop well-reasoned judgments.
  4. Evaluate sources of information for accuracy, relevance, and reliability.

  6. Explore issues through creative, interdisciplinary, and innovative approaches.
  7. Cultivate intellectual and ethical practices that promote the wellness of self, community, and environment.
