Program Goals
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Contribute to the nursing process as part of the healthcare team.
- Assimilate into the profession of practical nursing.
- Provide patient-centered care.

# Must have a minimum grade of C in all courses
The Practical Nursing program is approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
A minimum grade of C is required in all courses in the nursing program. Science courses must be completed within 5 years of entering the clinical courses.
Students are eligible for the summer program after completion of the first two terms of the Associate Degree Program.
