The Office Technology Certificate program is a career-based program that prepares students for entry-level administrative positions, enhances vocational skills, and prepares students for industry certifications. The courses provide students with relevant technical skills and with analytical and conceptual skills to perform successfully in the modern office environment. Students can also pursue an associate’s of applied science degree in Business Management to qualify for entry-level management positions to support the local workforce in the fields of banking, government, and manufacturing.

Program Goals
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Create standard electronic and printed business documents.
- Apply current technology skills in word processing, spreadsheet, database management, presentation, and personal information management.
- Employ human relations and interpersonal skills essential in a professional setting.
- Identify ethical and security safeguards as they relate to documents and digital systems.
Student Notices
Each software application course prepares students to pass a Certiport MOS certification. The certifications are completed on campus as part of the final exam.
