Students who desire a career in Chemistry are well-prepared for advanced study at a four-year college or university, or to enter the STEM workforce, through their classroom, laboratory, and field learning experiences with an Associate of Science degree. Through effective teaching, engaged learning, and a student-centered environment, this program educates students to lead well-informed and productive lives.

Program Goals
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Apply the process of science to answer questions in the laboratory and field.
- Apply quantitative reasoning to solve scientific problems.
- Communicate information effectively to provide explanations and possible solutions to scientific problems.
- Identify interdisciplinary approaches to analyze scientific problems.
