The purpose of the certificate program in National Registry Paramedic is to prepare students to successfully pass the National Registry Psychomotor and Cognitive Exams and to obtain an entry level Paramedics position. By providing instruction, clinical rotations at local hospitals, and field experiences with local fire departments, the program strives to prepare undergraduate students who are knowledgeable in advanced life support and able to think critically. This aligns with the institutional mission of educating students to become productive and knowledgeable citizens.

The Carroll Community College Paramedic program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).
