Apply medication calculation, pharmacology, and administration of medications to safe nursing practice. Twenty-one hours lecture and eighteen hours laboratory practice each semester. Additional $235 fee required. (Fall & Summer Only) Varies by week. Varies by week. Two Credits. Two billable hours.

Pre-requisite(s): Admission to the Nursing Program.
Co-requisite(s): NURS 131 and NURS 133(Fall) or NURS 131 and NURS 203(Summer).

Medications for Anxiety, Cellular Regulation, Elimination, Gas Exchange, Glucose Regulation, Hormonal Regulation, Immunity, Infection, Inflammation, Intracranial Regulation, Mood & Affect, Nutrition, Pain, Perfusion, Psychosis, and Sleep. Medication Administration methods including: SQ, ID, IM, IV, the Nurse’s role when administering medications and Medical math.
