The Administrative Assistant Letter of Recognition program is a career-based program that prepares students for entry-level administrative positions and enhances vocational skills. The courses provide students with the ability to facilitate the flow of information into the organization through receiving and responding to requests via mail, email, and phone, as well as the dissemination of information through effective written correspondence. With completion of this certificate, students are also prepared for an industry certification.

A Letter of Recognition is an informal award and will not appear on your Carroll Community College transcript. To request a Letter of Recognition, please visit Records, room A112, to complete a request form.
Program Goals
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Validate keyboarding and data-entry accuracy and proficiency.
- Create standard electronic and printed business documents.
- Apply current technology skills in word processing and personal information management.
